Management Development Workshops

In a joint effort with Contracted Driver Services, Hiring Solutions is pleased to offer a series of workshops focused on the selection, development, and retention of your quality employees.
Each workshop will consist of comprehensive assessments, practices and processes that will help you support your most important asset, your people. Each session will address a different aspect in the career of your employees.
The investment for each workshop is $50.00.
The location is Wigwam Resort - 300 East Wigwam Blvd. in Litchfield Park.
Breakfast or lunch will be included, depending on time of day and location.
An invoice will be emailed to attendees - payment needs to reach us one week before each workshop.
Workshop 1. New Art of Hiring Smart - June 10 - 7:30am to 12:00pm - Limited seating available!

During the NAHS session we will;
- Analyze the cost of turnover for a position, and the impact that turnover has on your company or your department
- Discuss the importance of Job Descriptions and create an outline that can be used for every position
- Review the benchmarks that you have been created beforehand through the JDS and Prevue system
- Outline an ad and discuss where to place it based on your company culture and needs
- Rate the resumes so you spend time with quality applicants, not just people who write, or have had someone else write, a great resume and cover letter
- Review your integrity questionnaire results (anonymously) and what to look for in a test and why we need testing now more than ever
- Create legal interview questions specific to the position and will expose an applicant’s past behavior; not just a good story on how they would “probably’ handle a situation
- How to set up an interview that will keep you consistent, in control and comfortable
- Conditional job offers and why you need them
When you leave this workshop, you will have the entire hiring process outlined and understand how to better support your current process or keep ours as your own.
The hiring process sets the stage for the entire career of your new employees, make sure this first crucial step is a good one!
To participate in this workshop you must complete an online Job Description Survey and an integrity questionnaire, one of our pre-employement tools. The reports generated from your participation will be given to you during the workshop and discussed in an anonymous manner. The invitations for these tools will be emailed to you after you register and take about 10 - 15 minutes each to complete.
